1 results about "Machining" patented technology

Machining is any of various processes in which a piece of raw material is cut into a desired final shape and size by a controlled material-removal process. The processes that have this common theme, controlled material removal, are today collectively known as subtractive manufacturing, in distinction from processes of controlled material addition, which are known as additive manufacturing. Exactly what the "controlled" part of the definition implies can vary, but it almost always implies the use of machine tools (in addition to just power tools and hand tools).

The invention relates to a method for producing board layers of freeze dryers by utilizing aluminum alloy sections. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps of (1) rolling the aluminum alloy sections; (2) cutting the aluminum alloy sections; (3) machining cutting faces; (4) sealing cutting faces at two ends; (5) machining liquid inlet tubes and liquid outlet tubes on sealing faces (or two sides of the sections). The method has the remarkable advantages that an aluminum alloy material is high in plasticity and can be machined into sections in any shape, the rigidity of the aluminum alloy material is higher than that of stainless steel, the thermal conductivity of the aluminum alloy is excellent and is twice the thermal conductivity of stainless steel, and cold and heat carried by silicone oil in the board layers can be released maximally through the excellent thermal conductivity of the aluminum alloy, so the temperature uniformity of the board layers is greatly improved.
