The wire clamp comprises a clamping device and a transmission device. The clamping device includes: a clamping block, a multifunctional connection sleeve, and a
linear displacement device. The transmission device comprises: a base body, a force-applying rod, a force transmission arm, and a support arm. The wire clamp successfully enables a workerto hang the short-circuit ground wire of a conductor arranged non-horizontally, particularly a vertically downwardly arranged conductor, on the ground. The wire clamp reduces the labor intensity of the workers to a great extent, improves the work efficiency, and eliminates the hidden safety problems caused by the climbing operations.
